What is PoliNet?

It is a new option, a party with a different way of engaging in politics, and a 21st century upgrade to our political system that’s long overdue.

PoliNet is apolitical.

No matter what your politics are, PoliNet can work for you by giving a platform to argue your ideals and vision of the future, to showcase your argument with evidence and rally people to your cause. No more need for protest and running the risk of being misrepresented by the press, your mission can have a home with PoliNet.

PoliNet has a platform where you vote on each issue as they arise and not driven by set party policies.

Combining a political party and an app to bring about a new approach to day-to-day politics, both local and national.

The best way to see how this works is by downloading the working model of the app Autonomy.

This app is a tool to help the people decide which issues are important, when those issues are dealt with and how. A scalable and anonymous forum that opens like a regular news source announcing what’s going on in your selected area, local or national, with headlines and articles telling us what’s happening in real time 24/7 and that uses a voting system to prioritise and validate those issues.

A quick swipe left across from the selected headline page and a list of crowd sourced solutions appear, generated by the app users, also with the ability to vote the best suggestions up to the top.

This way the people are basing their decisions on a shared truth and are voting on the best way forward.

Now your representative can head to parliament with the knowledge of what the big issues are in their constituency, what the people want doing, when and how.

This will give any registered user of the app a direct influence on what happens not only in the community, but also their place of work and ultimately, in our nation.

PoliNet doesn’t intend to change how government works, but the way our population engages with it.

The mechanics of passing laws, making legislation and how the civil service works will all for now, remain the same. When PoliNet becomes government, you the members will have a direct influence on how the future of the government and the civil service will operate.

PoliNet is self-funding

The party uses an app, and apps have advertising.

This revenue stream will supplement the membership fees to keep the party free from needing any further donations after the launch of the fully functional app. We intend to be as financially independent and transparent as possible.
